Snowflakes will make a delicate addition to any water garden pool. They have delicate flowers with attractive pads. The snowflakes give an attractive look to any water garden pool. As they grow they produce “pads” that float gently float on the surface of the water similar to water lilies.
This Giant Water Snowflake is similar to Water Snowflake with larger leaves that are over 4″ in diameter and produce the largest flowers of the Water Snowflake. A great addition to any water garden pool. Pads are a wonderful green with the delicate flower held high above…a most attractive sight!
Montana Snowflake (Nymphoides montana). A very attractive snowflake. Very similar to the Water Snowflake, however the leaves have an attractive dark mottling with a contrasting deep green. The mottling is opposite and parallel giving the resemblance to a butterfly wing (see image). Very free-flowering. Flowers freely.
The ‘Water Snowflake’, Nyphoides humboldtiana is a charming little aquatic floating plant. The small heart-shaped leaves float on the surface, and from the junction between the leaf and leaf stalk emanate clusters of dainty white flowers with yellow centers.
The Nymphoides cristata, also known as the ‘New Zealand Water Snowflake’, bears resemblance to the ‘Water Snowflake’ but distinguishes itself with purple edging on its leaves.
This stunning flower exhibits a snowflake-like appearance and abundant flowering, making it a delightful addition to any water garden pool, resembling a small water lily with its attractive blooms.

Marbled Water Fringe. (Nymphoides spinulosperma) A wonderful snowflake from Australia that resembles the Yellow Floating Heart. It has bright yellow snowflake-like flowers that are very attractive (see image). The circular, bronze marbles leaves, about 4 inches across, have an unusual small pink spot in the center. This plant is ideal for water gardens or any tub garden. Extremely attractive.

This rare ‘Orange Water Snowflake was introduced at Tricker’s nursery in 2007. It’s very similar to the ‘Water Snowflake’ but this one has a rare outstanding orange color with wonderfully delicate fringes.
The leaves are larger than any other snowflake like a water lily pad.
