Mystery Snails are the largest of the North American snails, being the size of a large walnut. Most snails lay jelly-like eggs on the aquatic vegetation in the water. The mystery snails however came out of the water to lay cluster of eggs on the emerged aquatic stems of an umbrella palm, taro, etc.
