Description
The ‘Dauben’ water lily, known as Daubenyana or Daubeniana, is a select true German hybrid which is one of the first viviparous pygmy hybrids.
It has beautiful pale lavender-blue flowers.
Almost every lily pad develops a plant at the center which profusely grows small flowers if there is enough room to spread.
Because it adjusts to the pond or tub size, it’s excellent for small or large pools. If planted in a smaller container, it’s a a pygmy. If planted in a larger container or pond, it will will marvel the other water lilies in size if it’s not crowded by other plants.
This ‘Dauben’ blooms well into the late season while other water lilies are reducing their blooms. The ‘Dauben’ will perform well in direct sunlight. It’s one of the better water lilies that grow okay if you do not have direct sunlight all day or as the sun’s pattern changes throughout the summer.
This is an old time favorite and a big seller! Order today, you will be pleased.

It was introduced to the U.S. by William Tricker in 1912 and has been a favorite water lily since its introduction.

This table shows the estimated shipping weeks for destinations to USA states. These dates can change depending on weather and how strong the plants are at that time. For example, a wet spring will have many clouds leading to less sunshine. Thus, the plants may need a bit longer to grow strong enough for transplanting and transit. With the planet heating up, a warm spring may help the plants grow strong enough to ship before the dates in this table. This applies to pick-ups a well as shipping.
