‘Gladstone’ Hardy Water Lily — 1894

Item # 10-3010

$32.99

This ‘Gladstone’ water lily is the “King of the Whites”, surpassing all of the other lilies in size and freedom of bloom.

The profuse pure-whit flowers give off a sweet fragrance. The blossoms are the clearest sparkling white flower of any known water lily. The cup/shaped flowers surrounded the clustered gold stamens.

Striped brown stalks with large circular dark green pads stand out of the water.

This is a vigorous grower. After growing acres of water lilies in northern Ohio, George Richardson said of his award winning water lily that “Gladstone is an elegant grower.

This will be among the first to bloom in the spring and continues until the frost arrives.
