Dosage: New or Problem Aquarium: Set-up tank as normal, dechlorinate the water, dose 1 ounce per 10 gallons. Then, add your fish at the recommended population. The tank should be cycled in 24 hours.
Maintenance to maintain clarity & digest sludge: Dose 1 ounce per 40 gallons. Repeat weekly or at least once a month.
To Resolve water clarity problem: Dose 1 ounce per 20 gallons every week until clarity problem is solved then switch back to maintenance.
Extreme clarity problems may require 4 to 8 doses.
Continue manual cleaning as needed until tank is restored to desirable clarity.

Winter can be harsh on the life in your water garden pool, especially with those extremely cold polar vortices or just darn cold temperatures that keep coming. UltraClear® Winter Blend has a blend of good bacteria that protects your water garden pond during the cold months. This will protect your fish from poor water quality in fall, winter, and early spring.
Add this when the temperatures are below 55 and the bacteria continue working below the ice and snow.
The biggest cause of fish death is ammonia. During the winter the Winter Blend will remove the toxic ammonia and helps to reduce sludge buildup. These bacteria are not the nitrifying bacteria found in the Spring and Summer UltraClear® formulations. These cold water bacteria absorb ammonia from the water during the entire winter months. When Spring comes, then the use of our UltraClear® line should be routinely used.

UltraClear Barley Pellets are fortified with humic acid prior to the pelletizing process. Humic acid enhances water quality, water softening and balances out the effects of phosphate in the pond water.
The slow decay of the barley pellets produce essential, beneficial bacteria that helps maintain clarity in the pond. The optimized pellet size offers maximum surface area for controlled decay. It is not a chemical. UltraClear Barley Pellets can be used during spring, summer and fall.
