The pellets are cleaner and easier to use than the bales (and requires a lot less space than the unsightly bales). UltraClear Barley Pellets are 100% safe for fish, birds and plants.
UltraClear Barley Pellets are fortified with humic acid prior to the pelletizing process. Humic acid enhances water quality, water softening and balances out the effects of phosphate in the pond water.
The slow decay of the barley pellets produce essential, beneficial bacteria that helps maintain clarity in the pond. The optimized pellet size offers maximum surface area for controlled decay. It is not a chemical. UltraClear Barley Pellets can be used during spring, summer and fall.

Finally! This is for that sludge that is on the bottom of your water garden pool. 100% biological, professional strength formula and works to keep your pond healthy and “Ultra-Clear”. A blend of natural “good” bacteria that is made for the sludge in your water garden pool.
“Sludge Digester” is an excellent remedy for use in all seasons! It reduces the build up of fish wastes, plants wastes, etc.
In the Spring the use of Sludge Digester will begin to prepare your pond for Summer’s activity.
In summer, the routine use will keep the pond clear.
And finally, in the Fall, especially at the end of the season when temperatures drop, sunlight is reduced, aquatic vegetation begins to decay, and fish waste accumulate, the product will prepare your pond for winter by cleaning up any final debris. Your new aquarium can be set-up using one product dose, and your fish can be added immediately at full stocking density. Switch to maintenance after tank is cycled or clarified.

Sure Start/Filter Start – For Pond Filters
Sure Start/Filter Start is used for new and old filters to get the natural bacterial base started. Use with a new filter, at the start of the growing season, or when changes occur to your filter during the year.
Only 2 oz for each 3 gallons per minute biofilter is recommended.

UltraClear pH Buffer Block (Lg)
The pH of the water determines the acidic or alkaline (basic) properties of your pond. Fish do best in neutral water that is neither too acidic nor too alkaline. Excessively high or low pH may be directly responsible for death from secondary causes (i.e. parasitic infections). Extreme pH changes will irritate the skin and gills of the fish.
UltraClear Buffer Block will stabilize the pH and increase water hardness and alkalinity in your pond. Low or no buffering capacity (low alkalinity & calcium carbonates) causes the pH of the pond to become unstable resulting in wide swings of the pH.
UltraClear Buffer Block adds essential calcium needed for healthy fish bone growth. It also enhances the growth and survival of beneficial bacteria for a healthy, beautiful pond. Great for snails!

This liquid formulation contains the “good” bacteria that are necessary for the nitrogen cycle that keeps your water garden pool in ecological balance. These nonpathogenic (safe) bacteria will consume nutrients that cause excess algae and restores water purity and seed a new biological filter. Reduces ammonia and nitrite levels. These natural bacteria will also consume large amounts of phosphate.
