The fast growing ‘Mellon Sword’ is one of the most beautiful species of the genus. It can be grown in a bright or slightly shady area. The white flowers bloom above the water and can reach 2′ -3′ tall for that wonder centerpiece in your aquarium.

Description
This ‘Mellon Sword’ can tolerate slightly acidic to neutral water. Herbivorous and large fish generally do not like it.
This plant will need nutrient-rich substrate and iron-rich fertilizer. If the leaves become pale and translucent, iron deficiency may be responsible.
It does well under medium to high lights. For each gallon: 2-4 watts full spectrum of 5000-7000K should suffice.
