Vallisneria Oxygenating Aquatic Plant
Vallisneria (Vallisneria spiralis). This attractive spiral leaved Vallisneria is also known as Vallisneria spiralis and has grassy foilage with tiny white flowers and can be considered to be one of the best submerged oxygenating plants of all. It is happy in moving or still water. Any movement, by filtering of water or moving fish, create a most pleasing sight in the depths of the water. Fish love to play in the strap-like curled foliage. This vallisneria grows leaves from 18-24 inches.
