Need a deeper pond? Then either consider a larger size or make this one smaller. If you want a deeper pond, say 3-ft, then subtract the difference (3 – 2 = 1-ft) and multiply by 2 giving 2-ft to add on each horizontal dimension.
E.g., to deepen an 8’ft x 11’ft x 2′ to 3′ deep, the horizontal dimension would be 6′ x 9′.
Or, a larger size kit of 11′ x 16′ would be 9′ x 14′ if the depth were increased by 1′.

Estimating Your Pool Liner Size.
Dimension #1: 5 (width) + 6 (2 x depth) + 1 (edge overlap) = 12 ft.
Dimension #2: 6 (length) + 6 (2 x depth) + 1 (edge overlap) = 13-ft.
You would need at least a 12 x 13-ft size. If you buy larger, you’ll have room for more overlap at the pond’s edge or error in estimating too small width and/or length.

Coping is a beautiful way to have a pond fountain with that professional look. This octagonal coping will need to be bonded together and installed on a foundation for the pool bottom (there is no bottom to coping). Coping can also be used for tree rings or elegant garden beds.
This pond coping comes in several magnificent color finishes is to match your design. Use to design your own reflecting pond, add some water lilies or even a nice fountain statue.

These ponds are made for water features such as spray rings or water fountain statues, or to be simply used as a reflection pool. If you are considering using it as a water garden, then consider the depth of the pool.
If you are planning a fountain display in the “pond”, then do not grow water lilies near the “moving” water or disturbed water that is caused by the spray. Water lilies prefer calm, placid water which is why waterfalls should be installed away from your aquatics.
The minimum depth to sustain water lilies depends on the design. Water lilies can grow in “tub” gardens which we sell the containers to make tub gardens. Our Pygmy Lilies can easily grow in only a few inches of water over the surface of the crown (thus for depth you have add the pot size) and can easily grow in 12″ of water. The best plants would be the Dwarf Giant Papyrus, Hardy Shallow Water and Bog Plants and Water Hyacinths. Oh, and don’t forget the fish for bio-equilibrium. Protective Pond Liner Underlayment is recommended to add a protective ground barrier for the pond liner. After digging, especially if you encounter rocks, roots, or other objects, this light weight durable underlayment will protect the liner from settling damage. This underlayment is placed directly on the excavation prior to placing the liner. Select the amount of underlayment needed to cover the ground excavation. The liner will then set on top. You may need to section pieces to best cover the excavation.

The charm of an Ancient trough lies in its rustic design, aged patina, and rich history, elevating it to a functional art piece that enhances any landscape with its unique character and enduring beauty. Constructed from robust materials such as granite, sandstone, and limestone, these troughs are built to last, capable of enduring diverse weather conditions. They can be transformed into raised beds for a variety of plants, flowers, herbs, or vegetables by filling them with soil. Additionally, their original purpose of holding water makes them perfect for creating simple garden ponds, cascading water features, or artistic water sculptures. Troughs can also serve as habitats for pond fish and koi, as well as a sanctuary for aquatic life like frogs and dragonflies. A smaller trough can function as a bird bath, offering a natural water source for garden birds. Alternatively, leaving a trough in its original state can provide a striking decorative element, showcasing its historical and artistic significance.
Installing the Ancient Trough is a straightforward process that anyone can manage. To ensure optimal performance, it’s important to position it on level ground and choose a location that suits your needs, whether that be in a sunny spot or a shaded area of your yard or garden. This simple setup will enhance your outdoor space effortlessly.
Natural stone / basalt finish

Disappearing fountains are the trend these days. Place your water feature atop this buried pond and the water flows from the fountain into the ground where the pump resides to recirculate the water back to the top. This is suitable for any overflowing water feature where the water falls into the underground pond interior. The walls are 1.5-2" thick so compensate for that when designing your disappearing fountain.
