Description

Spider Lily Aquatic Plants are considered part of the Hymenocallis species, are adaptable and fragrant perennials that excel in aquatic or bog environments, making them perfect for water gardens, ponds, and wetlands. These plants thrive in full sun to partial shade and can be established in moist soil or submerged in water up to 2 to 6 inches deep. Typically growing between 1 to 3 feet tall, they are favored for their ability to control shoreline erosion while adding a touch of tropical elegance. While Spider Lily Aquatic Plants are perennial in USDA zones 7 to 11, in cooler climates, they may be treated as annuals or brought indoors for the winter.

Preferred Growing Conditions	6+ hours/day of direct sunlight. Perennial. Lush, properly drained soil is ideal for these plants. They prefer wet conditions with flooding once in a while. They can also adapt to sandy or clay soil as long with consistent moisture. Neglecting to keep the soil adequately moist can result in harm to the plant.
