UltraClear^® Winter Blend Biological Water Treatment

Winter can be harsh on the life in your water garden pool, especially with those extremely cold polar vortices or just darn cold temperatures that keep coming. UltraClear^® Winter Blend has a blend of good bacteria that protects your water garden pond during the cold months. This will protect your fish from poor water quality in fall, winter, and early spring.

Add this when the temperatures are below 55° and the bacteria continue working below the ice and snow.

The biggest cause of fish death is ammonia. During the winter the Winter Blend will remove the toxic ammonia and helps to reduce sludge buildup. These bacteria are not the nitrifying bacteria found in the Spring and Summer UltraClear^® formulations. These cold water bacteria absorb ammonia from the water during the entire winter months. When Spring comes, then the use of our UltraClear^® line should be routinely used.
