The Laguna Pump PT 305 performs a variety of jobs that need a submersible circulating pump. It can be used indoor or outdoor for statuary fountains and waterfalls as well as hydroponic units and as an aquarium sump. They are hermetically sealed with totally inert epoxy over all electrical connections to ensure safety and long life.
This pump can run continuously underwater in either fresh or salt water.
The maximum water temperature should be under 95°F. Do not let the pump run dry or the warranty will be void.
There are three (3) suction cups on the bottom to secure it to a surface.
Ensure that the area is clear of debris that might get sucked into the inlet and clog the impeller.
Consider getting a pump sock/filter for the best filtration that will extend the lifetime of your pump.

Measure the temperature of the water for fish feeding. It is recommended to stop feeding your fish at water temperatures go below 50° F unless special prepared foods are used. As the temperature rises in your pool the ammonia becomes toxic.
This thermometer will record temperatures 30° to 120° F.

This is a special blend for tadpoles and clams that has been used at our nursery for decades. Use a small amount and watch the tadpoles feed.
Feed once a day unless the water is clear. Clear water is an indication that scavenger debris food may be limited and the tadpoles and clams need to be fed. In that case, feed twice a day.

Ich (ichthyophthiriasis) is one of the most prevalent diseases of fish. It is caused by a microscopic single-celled protozoan that causes white spots in the skin and gills of the fish. Alteration of the protective skin of the fish by ICH allows opportunistic bacteria or fungi invasion and the fish can die from secondary causes.
The best control of ich is prevention. New plants or fish can easily introduce ich to your pond. An excellent preventative measure is to treat your pond for ich before adding new plants, fish or in the Spring when ich is most prevalent.
Tricker’s recommends Nox-Ich to prevent or treat ich. In addition to the highly effective and proven malachite green for ich, the product also contains sodium chloride. Malachite green is a well known and old remedy that has been used to successfully treat not only ich but ectoparasites (gill flukes) as well as bacteria and fungal infections.
Treatment is for 3 consecutive days.
For aquariums, use 1 drop per gallon for 3 consecutive days.

UltraClear® SST is a Super Strength (SST) biological treatment for clarifying ponds from top to bottom. It is more than twice the strength of the regular UltraClear® and contains a special additional blend of natural bacteria. Digests organic sediment, eliminates odor, and is safe for fish and wildlife. Especially effective for control of many types of algae and string algae. Also exceptionally good for use to restore the ecology of the pool water after using a fast acting algacide such as GreenClean on severe string algae problems. Use 1 ounce for every 150 gallons of pond volume. (Example, Pond volume = 600 gallons, then 600/150 = 4 ounces).

Sure Start/Filter Start is used for new and old filters to get the natural bacterial base started. Use with a new filter, at the start of the growing season, or when changes occur to your filter during the year.

These pellets provide the continued activity to breakdown organic muck from decayed aquatic vegetation, autumn leaves, grass clippings, excess food and fish wastes that have accumulated in the pond. Winter can be harsh on the life in your water garden pool, especially with those extremely cold polar vortices or just darn cold temperatures that keep coming. UltraClear® Winter Blend has a blend of good bacteria that protects your water garden pond during the cold months. This will protect your fish from poor water quality in fall, winter, and early spring.
Add this when the temperatures are below 55° and the bacteria continue working below the ice and snow.
The biggest cause of fish death is ammonia. During the winter the Winter Blend will remove the toxic ammonia and helps to reduce sludge buildup. UltraClear? Potassium Permanganate Solution has withstood the test of time. Fish keepers have found it to be one of the best against external fish infections from fungi, bacteria, and parasites (Trichodinia, Costia, Chilodonella and flukes). It is also effective to improve water quality and clarity by clearing cloudy water of organics and algae.
The strong oxidizing effect makes a light pink color that will dissipate.
One bottle (16 oz) treats a 6,000 gallon pond. Use half strength for routine maintenance. For parasite and bacteria dose, repeat every 3-4 days if needed.

The pH of the water determines the acidic or alkaline (basic) properties of your pond. Fish do best in neutral water that is neither too acidic nor too alkaline. Excessively high or low pH may be directly responsible for death from secondary causes (i.e. parasitic infections). Extreme pH changes will irritate the skin and gills of the fish.
UltraClear Buffer Block will stabilize the pH and increase water hardness and alkalinity in your pond. Low or no buffering capacity (low alkalinity & calcium carbonates) causes the pH of the pond to become unstable resulting in wide swings of the pH.
