Description
This water lily is a cross of a hardy water lily with a tropical water lily called ISG (Intersubgeneric) which is a hybrid of a tropical and hardy water lily.
Tricker’s original stock came directly from Pairat Songpanich’s associate in Thailand and have successfully been propagated since.
In 2007, he created the first blue/purple, named ‘Siam’, after the former name of Thailand. Later, an ISG hardy purple hybrid was introduced and called it ‘Siam Purple’.
The water lilies have a variety of characteristics of both tropical and hardy water lilies. Along with other various characteristics of hardy water lilies, these hybrids have rhizomes similar to hardy varieties. The water lilies blossoms are purple and often shows streaks of blue in the petals.

This table shows the estimated shipping and pick-up weeks for destinations to USA states. These dates can change depending on weather and how strong the plants are at that time.
For example, a wet spring will have many clouds leading to less sunshine. Thus, the plants may need a bit longer to grow strong enough for transplanting and transit. With the planet heating up, a warm spring may help the plants grow strong enough to ship before the dates in this table.
