This particular water lily begins blooming early in the season. It is often regarded as the most brilliantly colored water lily currently cultivated. Named after the wife of the secretary of Tower Grove Park in St. Louis, Missouri, the ‘Emily Grant Hutchings’ water lily is a stunning red hybrid.
